H. M. Raitt & Sons Ltd. became a Limited Company in the year 2000 from the partnership (H. M. Raitt & Sons) which was founded in 1906 in Musselburgh. It is a family owned and run company, currently in it's fourth generation.

The Team
At H. M. Raitt & Sons Ltd. we have a large number of experienced personnel, they include the following:
- masons
- site joiners
- bricklayers
- painter and decorators
- slaters
- plasterers
- shop joiners
We also have a number of labourers and apprentices. All our employees are Health and Safety trained and hold current CSCS cards. In addition to our own employees, we also have a large selection of sub-contractors whom we have a long standing working relationship with.

Under the "roof" of HMRaitt.com are two companies, namely:
- H. M. Raitt & Sons Ltd. (partnership), a letting company for student flats in the Edinburgh area and commercial and holiday properties in East Lothian
- Triumph Homes Ltd, a property management and development company (currently in fledgling stages)
