Ian Scougall into (semi) Retirement
2 September 2004
After 27 years with the Firm, Ian Scougall has reached the age of retirement. When asked what his plans were for his retirement, the answer was, in typical Ian fashion, curt.
Nae idea – probably go back tae work! .
So taking Ian at his word, he has been turning out for us three days a week and more or less as required, although it has to be said, he is not too keen on the cold days anymore!
We are greatly indebted to Ian for his service over the past four decades, and are very pleased that he is still available for consultation – we suspect that Ian has forgotten more about the construction industry than most of us will ever remember!
We wish Ian every pleasure in his four day weekends and look forward to seeing him on Tuesday (if its not snowing!)
